Terms of Service
1. Service Description
Inkhorn is a personal journaling application that provides tools for daily reflection, mood tracking, spaced repetition review, contact management, and related features. The service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address. You may not create accounts for the purpose of abusing the service or other users.
3. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create in Inkhorn — journal entries, contacts, media, and any other data you input. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us only the limited right to store, process, and display your content to you as part of providing the service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to store or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
5. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We recommend using the export feature regularly to maintain a local copy of your data.
6. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently and irreversibly removed.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
